By far one of the best restaurants in town. A family-owned restaurant with an amazing team, amazing ingredients, and most of all, amazing food for a fair price. A true Nepalese experience. Their soups are delicious, their momos amazing, and their carrils even more. Always a go-to for us.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we walked in. If you're feeling hungry for some Nepalese or/and Indian cuisine, this is the spot. I've been coming here for years now and it never fails me. Eat here, take away or even order in. From simple dishes to those new to the food, to the complex options, they won't let you down!

The online table reservation was problem-free.
We missed the typical spiciness of the dishes and unfortunately we weren't asked about it when we ordered.

As sopas - uma de lentilhas e uma de legumes - estavam ótimas! Até o meu marido comeu e ele não se importa muito com sopa. : D O chaw mein de frango e o de mix estavam muito bons, com tempero bom para crianças. A sangria estava mesmo boa. O roti e o pão naan estavam incríveis. O gelado de manga e a bebinca estavam divinais. Os momo de frango fritos e o tikka de frango estavam de comer e chorar por mais! Éramos 4, mas quisemos provar várias coisas, daí termos pago um pouco mais por pessoa. Mas os preços são em conta e as doses são bem servidas. Adorámos!!!!

I found this gem by chance, and it became like a second home during my stay in Lisbon. The food is delicious, healthy, and lovingly prepared, and the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating regarding food sensitivities. The service is excellent and the atmosphere so welcoming. On a sunny day, the sidewalk seating is the perfect place to relax. I very strongly recommend wonderful Mandala House.

We visited twice during portugal trip (The first and last lunch of the trip) Good service, clean and neat environment, food itself is with satisfactory. We had Tikka Masala (tried both chicken and prawn), saag paneer, biryani and garlic naan, all good. One tip is to ask homemade spicy sauce that goes very well with curries. Not too spicy but add more flavor. There are so many Indian and Nepal restaurants in this area but no need to think and pick this one.

The special mango sauce will blow your mind. Try the Nepalese menu! The Nepalese starters are amazing and I thought they were nicer than my usual Indian choice in other restaurants. The Nepalese tea is great for the digestion after your meal too. Service couldn't have been better either.

You can definitely trust the high ratings for The Mandala House! It is a cozy place and the food is absolutely fantastic!!
We had the momo mandala as a started and definitely recommend it, also I had a hot rum drink that was delicious too!
The main dishes were very well seasoned and the garlic cheese naan that sided it is worth mentioning as well.

Will come back for sure!

Okay, so, we came across this place by coincidence, looking for a place to eat while waiting for our checking in hours to be available.
What a nice surprise, what a twist of the destiny... A hidden jewel inside the city. The service was excellent, the politeness of the waiter that served us made us feel right at home. I promised a nice review and here it is.
Now, the food. Oh boy the food... What a wonder. Everything was delicious. As a cook myself I can tell everything was made with love and care.
Absolutely, totally, fully recommended.
You'll love it (careful with the spice though)

Our dinning experience here was really unique. Before the food delighted us, the service impressed.

We’re fortunate to have the chance to learn from the waiter about the artworks displayed.

And I personally found the background music of religious chanting soothing, much better than the loud kind I usually get in an already noisy environment.

The waiter also shared with us ideas of trekking in his country.

So, I noticed, two of the three words on the cover of their menu are ‘art’ and ‘fun’.

Out of curiosity, I reviewed their reviews. I can confirm that the good things mentioned about this restaurant are very true.

Now, before I could take the waiter’s advice to visit Nepal in the right season, I want to return here before I leave Lisbon to try the Himalayan tea that my wife today had.

By the way, the waiter has been well trained for a five star hotel.

Very helpful and friendly staff! They helped us very well with recommending and explaining dishes. When we received the food we were completely blown away, it really is a taste sensation and has a very authentic taste. At the end we were given typical Nepalese tea on the house and this was certainly good in taste. For anyone staying in this area of Lisbon I would absolutely recommend the restaurant!

Outstanding food! All the dishes we had were super delicious, looked really good, and offered a great variety of incredibly interesting flavours. As the food can be a little spicy, I'd recommend the mango lassi with it.

The food was indescribably good, it literally melted in your mouth. The service was quick and polite. The mango-pistachio ice cream was good and the special Hymalaia tea (black tea with milk and spices) was tasty but very sweet. Overall a great success, great value for money! I recently visited The Mandala House and was blown away by the authentic flavors of Nepal! The panipuri was perfectly crispy and filled with flavorful tangy water, while the chatpate had just the right balance of spicy and sour. The khaja set was a delightful mix of savory snacks, perfect for sharing. And don't even get me started on the momos – they were absolutely divine! Each bite was bursting with juicy filling and delicate, handcrafted wrappers. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with friendly service and delicious food. My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here on our last night in Lisboa and it was by far our favourite meal. The food was incredible - we had the chicken momo dumplings, paneer masala, tandoori chicken and butter naan. All of the food was perfectly spiced and very flavourful. The waitresses were very nice and we cannot wait to go back when we visit Lisboa again. I wish I had taken more pictures but I did take one of the paneer that I will share.

Delicious food and affordably priced! This is a small quiet neighbourhood restaurant but don't let that fool you. Every dish was flavoured perfectly. Their use of spices is phenomenal. Service was helpful but not in-your-face. The two ladies were there to explain if we had questions about any dishes we were not familiar with. I would highly recommend you try this place out. I don’t even know where to begin except by saying WOW! This place is exceptional! I’ve never had Nepalese food before but found this place on google maps and was drawn by the reviews. We gave it a shot and this place doesn’t disappoint. Our waitress was so kind and helpful, and she provided excellent recommendations. I fell in love with the Momo platter and would recommend it to all who come here. We also had the chicken thali, onion bhaji, and garlic naan (all of which were fantastic). The mango lassi was so good we ended up ordering four between the two of us.

The decor in this restaurant is also so cute and I love the paintings on the wall. The restaurant was active with people from all walks of life which made for a fun time too.

Overall, would highly recommend for fantastic food, lovely wait staff, and a fun environment!

But the best Indian Nepali food we ate was today, in Lisbon Portugal.

I ordered panipuri and chicken tandoor, it was the best in the town . In others table also i saw lots of food and it looks yummy . I will definitely come back to try others food. And the service was excellent & they super friendly. Highly recommended

Wow, I just happened to go to this new Amazing Nepalese/Indian restaurant opened in Arrois near Praça do chile, My first impression was just super impressive. Tried some of these dishes. As am. Vegetarian I tried some Veg momos, Veg Thukpa, Pani puri and of course some portuguese beers, Drinks and delicious mango lassi. Wow, they are beyond just delicious. They completely filled my heart with joy. Was super soothing to my body. Asked them to do a bit less spicy, and they were very friendly to fulfil my demand. They did it happily. The ambience of the restaurant is very soothing. The service is grade A.The staff are super friendly and very attaintive always. Later, I managed to speak to one of the kitchen member as well. His name is Rohit, if I remember correctly. It was surprising to see him very calm and peaceful even after stressful work throughout the evening. The price of the food was affordable as well. I think it's the most affordable at the moment. I spent around 25 euros in total for a full stomach. I would recommend everyone to go and try this restaurant at least once when you are in Lisbon Portugal.

This place is amazing. The service was great. The speak English and português. The atmosphere was a pleasant. I loved the art on the walls. But the star of the show was the food. The tandoori chicken was the best I ever had. It came out sizzling. The vegetables the accompanied it were to die for as well. The butter chicken was good, but it was a bit sweet for my taste, but some may enjoy it better that way.
The cheesy garlic naan was amazing as well, I could eat platefuls of that.
We also had 2 mocktails that were delicious.

Highly recommend this place!

Well, the Mandala House is a very famous restaurant which is located in the city of Lisbon. The restaurant has variety of food and drink combinations. We can easily go to this restaurant with family and friends and have really tasty food along with drinks.

It is undeniable that the restaurant is situated very well. It is really attractive and accessible at the same time. It has huge array of foods menu and drinks. The staffs are very polite and attentive to customers. They can speak English very well. The foods are very tasty. We can pay by cash and card. People with wheelchair can easily go to this restaurant. Personally, I had a great experience. I really love going this place with family and friends.

In overall, I strongly recommend people to visit this restaurant. 🙏

Best Nepali and indian restaurant so far. The restaurant is very neat and clean and their staffs are very friendly. Moreover, foods are mind blowing. I would say this is the best Authentic Restaurant I’ve ever seen.

Amazing experience at the mandala House! Food and service was excellent. Great option's to choose from on the menu at a very reasonable price. Cocktails were so could we wanted to try them all. We will definitely make this or go to Indian/Nepalese restaurant.

Having sampled the chicken biryani and Nepal Himalayan tea, I must say that this establishment serves some of the most authentic Indian/Nepalese cuisine I've ever tasted in my travels. In fact, it ranks among the best restaurants I've visited for this type of cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would relish the opportunity to return.
